I brought my Chevy Malibu in for a routine oil change at the Gulfton location, and shortly after leaving discovered that my windshield washer fluid system was no longer working because the washer tube had become disconnected or damaged. I returned within 15 minutes, but instead of addressing the issue, staff immediately attempted to blame the age of the vehicle, heat, or normal use while claiming they “didn’t tamper with it.” During the visit, technicians had also attempted to replace my front left headlamp and were working directly in the wheel well and fender area where Chevrolet’s repair instructions show the washer tube is located. Since the system worked perfectly before service and their technician was working in the exact area of the damaged component, it is reasonable to conclude the tube was accidentally damaged during the attempted repair. Rather than taking accountability or working toward a resolution, I was initially left with a broken part, no clear answer, and no timeline for their supposed “investigation.” I then contacted Jiffy Lube corporate directly by email regarding the situation. The response I received was that because the location is “franchised,” the matter would simply be referred back to the franchise owner. That response was extremely disappointing. To customers, the company is Jiffy Lube — that is the name on the building, the branding being advertised, and the reputation customers are expected to trust. It feels like the company wants the benefits of the Jiffy Lube brand name while distancing itself from accountability when legitimate customer issues arise. To their credit, I was contacted the following day by the district manager, Lionel, and instructed to visit the S. Kirkwood location. Sarah, the manager there, immediately stepped in to help. After inspecting the issue for less than two minutes, she assured me they would document the damage, determine what was needed, and order the necessary part. About 10 minutes later, she returned and let me know everything was being handled and that she would contact me once the part arrived. What stands out most is that the S. Kirkwood location had absolutely nothing to do with the original issue. They had not made a single cent from me, yet they still took ownership of a situation another location either could not or would not properly handle. That level of professionalism and customer service deserves recognition. The S. Kirkwood location earns 5 stars from me, while the Gulfton location will remain at 1 star — and honestly deserves less. Sarah should be commended and used as an example of how customer service in situations like this should be handled. To the district manager, Lionel: thank you as well for handling this as promptly and professionally as you did. You and Sarah are both a credit to Jiffy Lube. Thank you, Sarah and Lionel.

Went in for routine state inspection. Was assisted from the very beginning. The attendant was very kind and helpful. Service was fast...in and out in less than 30 minutes as promised!! Awesome job!
