I went into Jiffy Lube expecting a quick, routine oil change—nothing complicated, just basic service. Instead, it turned into one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with any auto shop. From the moment I pulled in, there was confusion. No one clearly directed me where to go, and I sat in my car longer than necessary while employees walked around without acknowledging me. It already felt disorganized. When someone finally approached, there was no real greeting—just a rushed, almost annoyed tone asking what I needed. It didn’t feel welcoming at all, more like I was inconveniencing them by being there. After I explained I just needed a simple oil change, they tried to upsell me immediately. Before even checking the vehicle, they were pushing extra services I didn’t ask for or need. The wait time was much longer than advertised. What should have been a quick in-and-out service turned into a drawn-out process with no updates or communication about delays. While waiting, I noticed employees joking around and moving slowly, which made it even more frustrating knowing my time wasn’t being respected. When they finally started working on my car, I felt uneasy watching the lack of coordination. It didn’t seem like a well-run team—more like people guessing their way through the job. At one point, they came back with a list of “urgent” issues that felt exaggerated. It came across more like a sales tactic than genuine concern for the vehicle. I declined the additional services, and their attitude noticeably changed. The friendliness disappeared, and the interaction became short and cold. Communication throughout the process was poor. I had to ask multiple times what was going on instead of being kept informed. When the service was supposedly complete, there was no real explanation of what was done—just a quick handoff and a push to pay. The pricing also felt higher than expected for such basic work, especially considering the overall experience. After leaving, I noticed things didn’t feel quite right with the car, which made me question the quality of the work done. The lack of attention to detail was obvious. It didn’t give me confidence that the job was performed carefully or thoroughly. Customer service was easily the biggest issue. A simple level of professionalism and respect would have made a huge difference. Instead, it felt rushed, transactional, and careless from start to finish. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that didn’t meet even basic expectations for a routine service. I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly think twice before recommending that location to anyone looking for reliable and professional automotive care.
