I had a great experience at Jiffy lube in Berkeley today. Tom the manager was friendly, great and very clear, as well as informative. All the technicians, there were professional and did a good job.

I completed my oil change in 10 minutes....... But now I wonder if they changed my filter.............. Doubtful.

I had a great experience during my recent visit to Jiffy Lube on University. The staff was professional, attentive, and well-informed from start to finish. Raushanah, in particular, was outstanding. She was polite, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I appreciated how she provided practical tips for maintaining an older car—especially regarding oil condition and usage patterns. She helped me better understand when a change is truly necessary based on how the vehicle is driven, not just mileage. While fully respecting company protocols, she still found a way to offer thoughtful, personalized guidance that helped me make informed decisions. She also coordinated support with the team she worked with smoothly when needed and maintained a calm, respectful presence throughout. It's clear she values both the customer and the quality of her work. Overall, a very positive visit. I’d recommend this location for anyone looking for thorough, honest service.

Informative staff, reasonable price. I was stressed about my brake light, ABS & traction lights on but was also in need of an oil change & tire rotation. They were able to do everything in a little over an hour, they don’t work with the electronic components of the vehicles but I was actually able to reset the buttons on my hybrid myself & they disappeared after my brake pads were replaced here which is great! 10/10 recommend, car is normal again!

Lovely staff. It's funny to say this about an oil changing station, however it was an all around pleasant, positive and uplifting experience. I was made to feel welcome the moment I pulled into the lot. There was a very easy workflow amongst the crew members and even though it was a busy day, I was out of there in 20 minutes. Highly recommend this place.

Customer Service is A++ — they stand by their work. I live in SF and was in Berkeley passing by Jiffy on University and thought to have my oil changed. After returning to SF I discovered a small issue following the oil change. Tom from Jiffy drove over to SF right away and fixed the minor issue. That’s true customer service. I’ll be returning for another service for sure.

Gotta be honest, I've stop talking my personal car to jiffy lube. But this Berkeley location had a great staff and took care of my work vehicle in a timely fashion. Nice to see a lady mechanic with the crew as well. See you next time.

I popped in for a routine oil change today and was really impressed how friendly and helpful the staff at this location was. From the happy, friendly woman who unexpectedly vacuumed my car to the service technician who waved goodbye from the bay, everyone was great. You don’t get this kind of service much these days, so thank you for this breath of fresh air today!

I have been coming here for years but today had the very best experience. I got there at 0803 and Steven was alone to open. He had two cars right away and took care of us both quickly and professionally while also being very friendly. He helped me find and use a coupon and was honest about what extra services could wait and what couldn’t. The second employee who arrived soon after was also very friendly . Loved the day and was out very fast!
